I agree with the overall argument that we are/have become a nation of citizens that love the hand that feeds them. But, to blame it on a particular "party" is splitting hairs.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32269298 I see that differently and I left the democrat party because of its values. Find ONE democrat who thanks the segment of society that provides jobs. Find ONE who chides a girl who expresses the desire to have a baby on her own, pointing out that babies have mothers and fathers for a reason. Find ONE democrat who truly subscribes to: Give a man a fish and he has food for a day, teach a man to fish and he has food for his life. Well I could not find ONE, so I left.
