Gender Identity Passports???

I don't fly so I don't have much interest in the thread topic.... Just wanted to say hello to a fellow wolftard.

So the question I would ask is what countries are they valid for? since other countries would have to validate this move and accept female passports for anatomically male visitors.

I have nothing against those with gender identity issues, and can only with them well on their journey, however simply issuing them a passport does not mean it would be valid outside of America.

Hello yourself..but this isn't just about flying. Passports are all about identifying ourselves when leaving or entering this country. I mean what is the point in having an international ID if you can be anyone you want? What's next? Someone can say, I'm really 50 but I feel like 30??

That is a good question, and this thread isn't about gender identity issues, it's about national security! Not to mention, it will make this country look like an even bigger joke than it already does to the outside world. I mean seriously?? What will they think of our so-called passports??

It is a strange move.. I noticed the comment about "limited validity" and wondered what that actually entailed.

I am pretty sure it could be dangerous for an American, I'll assume dressed as a female with a female passport and male genitals to use female toilet or indeed travelling as a female with male genitals to use a male toilet in some destination countries, even friendly ones.

Not sure this is going to have any kind of positive impact at all abroad..
