Collard greens, sweet tea and cornbread
Been cookin' up some collards in the night in the crock pot. "Fixin' to" bake some sweet potatoes, rice, cornbread and iced tea.

Now about the meat. Oh, must I? Argh. Maybe some chicken I guess.

Trying to remain healthy. My mother was raised on this kind of food and she's lived to be a healthy older age so it looks like it works. She even ate salt pork. (makes me visualize clogged arteries but what do I know). Her dad even lived to be pretty old too and I know grandpa ate all that stuff, plus rolled his own cigarette made with the tobacco he grew in his barn.

Oh, this is not pin worthy. Just musin'.

Have a wonderful, safe, healthy and happy day. I'm gonna have a great day. Not gonna let evil get in my way.

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice an be glad in it.

(Oh yeah. Dessert. Hmm. Maybe a bit of frozen yogurt with fresh blueberries.)

Shalom.

Maybe some sliced "maters", since my plants were taken outside.

Re: Collard greens, sweet tea and cornbread
I think my collards need to be cut up some more. Hmmm. Sort of a cooktard I guess. Maybe put them in food processor for a spin....

Sometimes I do things backwards. Speaking of backwards - You know I once knew a Puerto Rico guy. He asked me if I'd ever heard of Puerto Rican golf. I said no. He said well, you put the ball in the hole and then hit it out. Har har.

Re: Collard greens, sweet tea and cornbread
Decided to start living my life like it's the last day of my life. Do stuff I want for me and others and just be happy in spite of what the devil wants for this country. I think it may be a good plan.

We win! Or, as a famous celeb said "winning!".
