MN raises price of a pack of cigarettes by $2 + and then makes it illegal to bring more than one carton across state lines
What a bunch of crooks! Can't bring more than one carton of cigarettes across state lines per month after they raise the price of a pack by over $2. And they did this to pay for the new stadium after they said NO NEW TAXES would pay for the stadium. They tried electronic pulltabs that failed miserably so they decided to raise taxes on smokers. And this is statewide so people living way up on the border with Canada who will probably visit the stadium maybe once in their lives still have to pay for it.

Smoking related illnesses cost taxpayers billions of dollars a year.

In Australia cigarette packets are blank,covered in gore and cost 33$ per pack. And even then it still doesn't cover the medical costs from smokers.

Make obama pay for their habits, and than use obamacare to pay for any medical costs.

When Maryland did this type of thing...people just loaded up in WV, VA and DE.

End result is declining revenues.
