"touch DNA" is very difficult to collect and identify. Simply touching something does not necessarily leave behind enough genetic material to identify the DNA of who touched the object. George Zimmerman's DNA was also unable to be identified from the grip of the gun. The DNA tech collected an actual blood sample from the gun grip, but could not positively identify either GZ or TM DNA in the sample collected. The claim that because Martin's DNA was not identified on the gun, he could not have grabbed for it as Zimmerman claims, is a misleading presentation of the science of DNA .
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42807565 In a fight there is blood, sweat and Saliva. Zimmerman is obviously a liar because he said Trayvon had his hands all over his gun but he wrestled it away from him. You may WANT Zimmerman to be innocent but he is clearly guilty. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42813113 First of all Zimmerman did not say Trayvon had his hands all on it and he wrestled it away. I believe, he said he was going for it and besides zimmerman pulled trigger yet his dna wasn't on it either explain that. If Trayvon only touch holster it is very rough and it hard for dna to adhere to. Plus the fact it was raining that night. That testimony doesn't tell us anything one way or the other.
