What A Day User ID: 45775035 United States 10/01/2013 11:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation	Boss Made Me Move An Old Dead Mans Body Out The Tub (DETAILS HERE) before i type this out, i must tell you im completely shooken up about this and it actually happened. im the maintenance guy at this old folks home and my boss runs the place, i actually live in the quarters of the building as well.. an old man passed away last night in the bath tub and just layed in there all night, my boss found him and called me up and had me remove him from the tub.. im seriously wondering the legality of the situation and if theres anything i can do, i didnt want to move the old naked pruned out dead man its bothered me beyond belief that my boss basically forced me to. please assist me with this situation with any corpse moving laws or anything this is a real thing and i could use your assistance glp. thanks in advance.

Or at least, wait until OSHA re-opens. Shutdown and all that.

And didn't he call a coroner or something? I mean, can you even move the body without calling a medical examiner first? For all you know (not that this happened, but hypothetically speaking), your boss could have killed the dude and then had you move the body.

One of my patients died in the night- ( we knew it was coming as she was terminal) I had to call the coroner immediately - you can not move a body before they have been OFFICALLY pronounced dead. For all you know he could be waiting to report the death so he can keep receiving the poor man's social security- it happens
