Here's How to Blur It Out Yep, I have done that. You can even request that it doesn't show your house at all. (although you can see it slightly from "down the street" views) BUT... you have to check back frequently. You have to redo it when there is a new map.

Here's How to Blur It Out Not that google doesn't already have my IP but as soon as I fill out the form to blur my house, they now have my IP and email (although that could be faked) linked to the image of my house - more data mining. As someone has commented, although it is blurred, the image still exists at google. However, I guess it is better than nothing - so thanks. Could always use a fake email and maybe a library PC - but then again don't know what google picks up off a library login. Maybe an internet cafe or a neighbor's wifi?
