Every other night I awake at 3 am, sometimes earlier, sometimes later, I leave it in the Lord's hands. That's how I roll. Quoting: bigD111 That would be a dangerous gamble for me, lol. Wanna hear something that I think is crazy? I was diagnosed with fatigue, lol. Seriously though. The last appointment I had they sent me for some more blood work and I looked at the papers as I was waiting to be called in and next to "Diagnosis" one of the things written was fatigue. I found it funny because my doctor hadn't asked a single question about my sleeping (or lack there of) habits. He looked at me physically and determined that I looked enough "like shit" to be diagnosed....let that sink in...DIAGNOSED by a medical specialist, with fatigue. Not a single question was asked about sleep patterns. Da fuq??? I look like shit lately, bad. My boss looked at me on Wednesday and in his words said, "you look like shit." : ( *sigh* Sucks because I know it's true. Couldn't even get mad at him for saying it. Just responded saying "I know." Quoting: CuriousSeeker Where I live is around eight miles inland and I am unaware of any significant bodies of water other than the ocean. Keep us informed. Dude, what are you doing living that close to LA???!!!!! You need to move to a safer area! So what! I live 30 miles south of Seattle in Tacoma. When it goes, the while region is gonna die. It can be the Cascadia opens up, in the 8s or 9s or Mt. Rainier blowing. But yeah, I don't think any of that will happen in the next 30 or 40 years of my life. Yeah, and all the volcanoes in Oregon too. Okay DUDES you both need to move!!! I couldn't live with that in my backyard. At the most we have small tornadoes F0 - F3. A bad blizzard every few years. 100 year floods in the foothills. KNOCK on WOOD.... We all have to go at some time... I figure when my number is up, it's up regardless of what I am doing at the time or where I am located. Besides you're in CO right? If so, you're within the kill zone for Yellowstone. I am as well, though a bit closer, so when she decides to pop her top we'll both have front row seats. If we tried, I bet we could come up with some horrific danger for every state of the union. That said, if a person does want to move, I'd rather make that choice based on the lifestyle I want to live rather than fear. Sol Neman User ID: 65217191 United States 01/10/2015 12:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 'Frost quake' shakes Montreal's West Island Quoting: AKObserver Phillips says a "frost quake" could crack the ground and cause it to shake — feeling very similar to an earthquake. He says a similar event can also happen when water collects on flat roofs. "It will freeze expand and then crack with a boom," said Phillips. Some West Islanders took to Twitter reporting hearing a loud boom overnight. more [link to search.yahoo.com (secure)] I'm not an old man. But it seems in the last 10 to 15 years, there is a lot of "official" new weather phenom. a selfless plug. I see nother other threads and did a search. Seems to be braking news... Thread: Tail Wreckage of Flight AirAisa Found None of it is new. It may have been a few decades since we've seen some of these events, but they have happened before and will happen again. What has changed is how weather events are sensationalized. By doing so it fits the agenda of 'climate change' and causes panic. Panic causes people to buy things (boosts economy) and they look to 'experts' for guidance. Also justifies the need for such 'experts.' When I hear, "this is the coldest temp ever recorded," and you look to see that records only go back 100 or maybe 150 years it makes me laugh. Ok, so they're right it is the coldest ever 'recorded' but that doesn't mean a thing. There have been much colder temps and much warmer temps for that matter. Think ice age and tropical fossils at the poles. By taking a literal blink of the eye snap shot at weather events (100-200 years of records) and stating these events are out of the norm is asinine. We do not have nearly enough information to even know what 'normal' is. Weather is not the only victim of 'worst ever on record.' There's more crime & criminals (of all types) now than ever before...DUH! There's 7 billion people on the planet, of course there will be more crime, not to mention we also record every, little petty thing that happens, so there's more records regardless. We've had more earthquakes than ever before...we've also been able to record far more earthquakes than ever before so of course our annual totals will be higher than ever. This is the most expensive disaster ever! Of course it is, nothing is getting less expensive, our dollar does not go as far as it has in the past and there are far more structures due to population expansion then there has ever been there before. Obama has killed far more with drones than Bush or any other president in the past. Wow! That's amazing, so please tell me how many drones did Bush have compared to Obama? It was burgeoning technology at that time and not widely used, instead, Bush like all other presidents before him just used black op's teams. (Please don't take this as support for Obama, just making a point) Cancer (or any other terrible ailment) rates increase every year. First of all, population is larger, therefore the total numbers of people with a particular disease will increase, add to that, we are now able to find all types of disease far more often and easier than ever before. So do we actually have more disease or is it just recorded more often now due to better testing? Vaccines/pharmaceuticals save lives, just look at how life expectancy has increased and instances of certain diseases have disappeared or are a lot less common! Well isn't that great! Please tell me then...was it vaccines/pharmaceuticals that caused this or perhaps...just maybe it was getting rid of open sewers in the streets, better personal hygiene, cleaner water to drink, clean and cook with, less exposure to animals and more specifically their waste, less working outdoors or hard labor and more working in sterile office environments...nah gotta be the chemical soup I just swallowed or was injected in my body.... I think I need a drink! Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty ~ Thomas Jefferson |
