Sure doesn't last long does it? We had hoped to make it there this summer but will have to wait until next. I love bird watching and have a whole checklist of birds to mark of that YS will give me!!!!

Was thinking the same thing with this one. Very fast. Practically stopped by the time I hit "post." LOL!

I'd love to get out there. I can't use any paid vaca time from work until October. Ugh! But I have 3 weeks that I have to use between October and the end of March. Maybe I'll use some of that time for a visit there!

One of my sisters is bullying the other sister. They're both in their 20's. But I'm not even kidding...it's bullying. And has been for many years. I hate it. It breaks my heart that one of my baby sisters would want to put her baby sister down. Instead of building her up. I just don't get it. She can be SO mean to her sometimes.

They're all in Florida right now. My parents, my daughter, my sisters and my sisters' significant others. I just got off the phone with my youngest sister (the one who isn't married). She called me because she was so upset about how our other sister treated her today. : (

I just hate it.

Yes, always. They both do. Just wish the other one wasn't so cruel to her. They're much closer in age to one another. I was an "oops" lol. They are 8 and 10 years younger than I am. They're only a year and a half apart from one another. I always figured that was the reason behind it. The age thing. But now that they are older (not pre-teens/teens) I would expect that to have ended by now? And it's the older of the two of them (the one who was recently married) that is the mean one. I guess that unnecessary, out of nowhere attack today was so bad that even her husband got upset with her. That NEVER happens, lol. But I feel bad for my baby sis. She's sensitive and when our other sister does this to her it really hurts her.

Sounds to me like it's time for Mama and Papa to step in and set things right. All you can do is be there for her and assure her that at least one of her siblings has her back.

If that doesn't work, time to sharpen the claws and teach middle sis what family means.
