5500 advised county that the gas company said there is a possibility that a truck putting down brine might be over heating (has a similar smell when overheats) which is why the smell is in so many different places in the township. County does not know of any trucks on the road. Basically they can't find the leak. Fire dept is still responding to smells of gas as residents call 911 JSSN 109 7:28pm

Did y'all see this as well...

Many are reporting gas leaks in multiple locations around the area where all the shaking happened. Check out all the comments. Many are from 4-5 hours ago when people started smelling STRONG GAS ODOR...apparently still ongoing from the comments.

"What the hell first 90% of town without power than this sonic boom/earthquake now gas leaks. What has Jackson done to anyone."

Massive sinkhole closes part of Highway 101 in southern Oregon

HARBOR, Ore. -- A portion of Highway 101 in southern Oregon will close Thursday night due to a massive sinkhole.

The sinkhole is located at milepost 358 in Harbor, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

I was reading them earlier today. Scary that it's still ongoing. It was HOURS ago that I was reading them.

Or is it sulphur? They put that smell in natural gas so that it can be detected, so they could be confused for one another.

In 2013 there was a gas smell in SoCa that was later blamed on methane release. A day before or so loud booms were heard.

Okay, I will admit it....

If it is indeed natural gas, it surely would have exploded somewhere by now, if it's that prevalent/heavy.
