Anonymous Coward User ID: 72791376 United States 05/29/2017 03:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Good morning!! It has not been a good weekend. I tweaked something in my left knee (the non surgery knee) and have been sleeping and nursing it back to normal. It's a pretty bad sprain (I can walk and everything else thank God) so nothing as serious as my quad tendon tear but still had me concerned for a bit due to the amount of pain. I imagine it has to do with me finally walking unassisted for the first time in 9 months. The muscles are not used to it! Thankfully the pain is almost gone and there hasn't been ANY swelling or bruising or other tell tale signs of other tears (LCL tear, HCL tear, torn meniscus, etc.) so I am gonna take it one day at a time and take it slow so that I don't do anything more severe. I can't handle another surgery. I just can't........ |

Would I have done that if I didn't want you on the thread? Why so paranoid? Sometimes its better to be paranoid and you said "good to go" thats why i thought you don't want me here lol You have to work on American terminology a little. We do not learn from history because our studies are brief and prejudiced. In a surprising manner, 250 years emerges as the average length of national greatness. This average has not varied for 3,000years. The stages of the rise and fall of great nations seem to be: The Age of Pioneers , The Age of Conquests ,The Age of Commerce ,The Age of Affluence ,The Age of Intellect ,The Age of Decadence. Decadence is marked by: Defensiveness, Pessimism, Materialism,Frivolity An influx of foreigners The Welfare State A weakening of religion. Decadence is due to: Too long a period of wealth and power, Selfishness Love of money ,The loss of a sense of duty. The life histories of great states are amazingly similar, and are due to internal factors. Their falls are diverse, because they are largely the result of external causes. - Sir John Glubb The Fate of Empires We are at the end of the Age of Decadence heading into COLLAPSE |
