Quoting: CuriousSeeker This week has been a busy busy busy week and this is only the beginning. I have been obtaining consulting work in my field and it’s like I have been a magnet for everyone: all manner of clients are coming out of the woodwork to offer me work: 1. Just became official: I signed an ongoing white label consulting contract with one of the largest, oldest companies in the world in my line of work. 2. I also signed another company in this manner. 3. I signed another client today. 4. All four of my project quotes / proposals in the industry have come back and if my last one does (and he says he will be sending me all kinds of auditing work after our pilot project goes well), I will have made about three times as much money in one month doing this stuff for myself than I ever did in 6 months working for my former employer. If things continue in this vein and I continue to get a steady stream of clients I don’t think I will want another job. Congrats CS, I was wondering why you had been so quiet. Good for you! Thanks, KickinIt! It's been a bit for sure, but many good things are finally happening. It's so refreshing after the absolute hell that's been the last year. |

Could you walk me through how you got that gif into a smilie?? Every time I did it, it wouldn't be animated. Quoting: WhiteAngel You can use the first one, if you want to walk me through. Also it can be a pm if you don't want to tie up the thread [link to www.animateit.net] The one you had asked for was really easy because it didn't have to be resized. All I did was right click the one you wanted and chose 'save image as'. Then just came here and uploaded it as a custom smilie. It probably would've worked for you too. If I open the one I saved for you and uploaded here on my laptop, it opens as a still image, but I never opened it before uploading it here (not sure if that makes a difference or not). It uploaded here without a problem as a GIF. : ) ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

I save to my desktop too If I did that, I wouldn't have a desktop, just one big jumble of thousands of images..omg! lol I give them a name I can remember easily and save them to a pic file in downloads. I hate having to go look for it again on the net if I need it. Just had to do that with my walking heels AV and it took me FOREVER to find it (there is only one instance of it anywhere). Lost the old one when my pc shit the bed. I found it, reworked it the way I had it and have uploaded it as a smiley here in case I ever lose my pc again. Dumbass me hadn't backed up my images on disc...grrrr. Live and learn. Last Edited by ~Jazzy~ on 10/14/2017 04:45 PM To know where your heart is, look where your mind goes when it wanders. I was surprised that the one I uploaded didn't need to be resized. They're pretty big! For future reference, if you need to resize a GIF image so that it stays a GIF image, you can use this site. [link to ezgif.com (secure)] You'll have to save your resized copy to your computer again, so I usually save it with the same name but add a 1 or something after the name so that I can keep the original big one just in case the resized copy won't upload here for some reason and I need to do another resize of it. Just choose 'Resize' at the top and then you upload your GIF and get options for resizing it. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
