This is nothing compared to the months of Hawaii earthquakes that were constant before they abruptly stopped. Since stopping, the overall number of EQ's per day is SO much lower, although now we're seeing activity in many places.

For example, if you look at the number of quakes that are magnitude 2.5 and above on USGS, there's currently 76 for today, worldwide. During the Hawaii non-stop quake days, that number would be over 300 by this time of the day. [link to earthquake.usgs.gov (secure)]
