Quoting: CuriousSeeker While it was fun times with great people, I still can't stomach rich people food. I need a nice juicy fucking Goddamned cheeseburger and fries after and I need it now. This cracked me up because today at our office Christmas lunch the waiter was telling us about the special for the day. Everyone at our table was all gawking over the description and I was like, I don't even know what half of the things he said are. I had a liquid lunch. And quickly realized that I shouldn't drink around co-workers. Still. Lol. My filter isn't great to begin with. Add a couple of Long Island Iced Teas on an empty stomach (hardly ate at all this week) and suddenly I don't even know what a filter is. Our actual company party, which is a biggie, is in January. It's always at a nice venue with good food and a DJ. Games and dancing and being surrounded by the people you despise without being paid for it. I haven't attended in many years now. Apparently I might have to start skipping the office Christmas lunch too lmao! I don't know why companies throw those kind of parties anymore, because most are not interested in going to them. the money for a lavish party would be better spent on small cash bonuses or practical gift cards for employees. |

Never did develop a taste for it. Speaking of Christmas parties, at yesterday's I won a $50.00 gift card at the raffle!!! Whoo-hoo!!! |

Feels good to know I don't have to go into the office until 1/2/19. Last Edited by KickinIt on 12/22/2018 12:23 PM |

I didn't realize this full moon was in my sign, that could explain some things about this week. I liked this person's explanation of this full moon/solstice and the astrological effect. There's an overview, then horoscope for each sign. [link to chaninicholas.com (secure)] |

KickinIt User ID: 74785546 United States 12/22/2018 11:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Well I was intending to be back last night but my internet then decided to go on the fritz, lol! Quoting: Mattie. :lol1: Ah, A floppy... Haven’t seen one of them in ages!!! haha, me either. Remember the bigger, thin floppy that came before these? I've never been into computers or tech stuff and I am also stubborn, so in college I typed all of my papers on a typewriter because I refused to accept that computers were becoming a necessary "thing". I hated going to the computer lab and avoided it like the plague. Just hearing "MS-DOS" makes me cringe, lol. Ready for Christmas? What kind of weather are you expecting over the holiday, any snow potential? |

Quoting: Hermit 48 Ditrianum is one of few that I pay attention to and listen to what he has to say. FWIW, yesterday was the 20th and there was the 7.4 Russia earthquake. Merry Christmas Hermit! : ) The most destructive earthquake/tsunami over past decades took place in December 25/26th 2004. Merry Christmas Simple27 ! |
