Just a little update on the work front, because I don't want to spam this thread with it:

The company will be closed end of this month. We did have a restart plan and an investor, but apparently personal interest of group management blocked that option with the administrator, who took so extreme much time that clients had to choose other options for their orders. All so pre-orchestrated.

But, it has no use putting negative energy in that now. First priority is now to go from the fact that every colleague did more than their utmost to keep our plant open. We can really say that no one can blame us for that, worked three weeks without salary and never complained, just kept running, to give the administrator enough time and serve our loyal clients. That is something to have the biggest respect for and it gives us a good sheet toward the future.

We had a lot of press interviews, I sent an open letter and together with HR appealed to companies to convince them that there is no better qualified and loyal work force than ours and it worked. Over 200 companies reacted, offering job openings. Clients helped, stayed with us till the very end. So very heart warming.

Those of you who know me, know I am no quitter, see positive in everything, beyond the limits of positiveness. And through that we also will get through this as well. No doubt this is a big blow after 39 years (probably 45 if I count the hours), but it ain't over till the fat lady sings. After a few months of rest and relaxing, I will embark on a new adventure and find new challenges. Never give up. One door closes and another one opens,.. for me, for you, for everyone. Never, ever give up!
