And those that do are usually fully gray very early, like 20s, and they typically gray very nicely. They have that good gray hair that makes you want to call them a silver fox, not that mousy gray that's like a non-color. I'm sure that's what I'll end up with. Then I'll have to start dying it a nice color gray, lol |

I have no desire to go to a casino, bet on sports, or anything like that. But I LOVE horse racing on it's own, and I get sucked into the betting immediately when I go to a track (which is maybe 1-2x per year). I often do exacta bets, so I just lose more money faster. Although I don't place large bets, but the problem is, over the course of the evening a lot of failed exacta bets adds up. It's all about the challenge to me - I like to think of myself as someone who is knowledgeable about the sport and knows what to look for in jockeys, history, etc. But the reality is I know very little or I'd pick the winners! |

Lost my whole check and felt like such shit about it that I still have a hard time buying a scratch ticket, even sporadically. Quoting: Simple27 Craps, black jack, sports gambling, some light bingo maybe Only shot you got Scratchers and tickets are a sure loss I have growing interest in professional gambling I hope it works out for you. I'd love to win big, but I have that fear of blowing through all of the little bit of money I do have while trying. I've never even looked into whether or not online gambling is legal here in MA. I would imagine it is though, since we now can have casinos. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Simple27 (OP) User ID: 40488826 United States 12/11/2019 07:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Only "some" grays w/your Irish blood?? Lucky you! I feel like I'm getting grayer by the day, although overall I'm really not that gray, just in spots like my temples and crown. But what's happening is that over time my overall hair color has become lighter and lighter as it prepares to go gray. I still color it (myself) but I'm not obsessive about it. I'm just not ready to let it go fully gray. But when I first started coloring my hair I used to buy a dark brown, then as my hair color got lighter I switched to medium brown. Now I have to buy light brown! Anything darker makes me look washed out. Quoting: KickinIt That's where I see my grays beginning! Like in the baby hairs lol. But I have seen a few longer grays in the mix and I'm just not okay with that! I haven't dyed my hair in probably 5 years now. Eek haha! I usually go with a dark brown, or medium brown. : ) Yeah, the temples and the crown are typical places for it to start. Enjoy that dark brown dye while you can! I miss those days. I'm still not used to how light brown my hair has become. Someone had the nerve to refer to me as a "dark blond" once! I about shit. I still come across random hairs in my own house, on my jacket, etc. that are so light and unrecognizable to me, I initially question who it belonged to. Me, that's who, and it's weird. That's so strange, but also makes sense. I've only seen you with dark brown hair so I can't even picture it lol. But the pics I saw were indoors, which makes hair look darker naturally. My hair looks much lighter outside under the sun. I've had many shades of hair colors over the years. From blond to black, literally haha. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

I will buy a lottery ticket every once in a while. Usually when I've had a bad week of work and I just want to quit working altogether. I also would like to take up bingo in my old age, like my granny and my aunt. They had all kinds of bingo friends and different places they played. As a kid, it always seemed like so much fun. I also want to use those ink dobbers to mark the cards! If they even still use those. That might be old-school bingo. They probably all have computer screens now. |

He has grays of course, but more dark brown than gray. I'm pretty sure my hair has been falling out a bit too fast lately. I know it is. Big time before taking the leave from work. It's freaking me out. But that's why I decided to cut so much off. Hoping that will slow the loss down. It's not yet noticeable, but I can see the difference when I shower. Little clumps are coming out now. : ( ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Those pics you saw were a few years old, but in my youth my hair was darker than what you saw. My hair has always had a lot of red in it, though. A warm brown, if you will. As it lightened it almost looked borderline auburn at one point. Now people who I haven't seen for a while always ask me if I'm putting highlighting in. I say, "nope, just getting old". Tis true. |

I may need to go back to the endocrinologist. I got cleared in that department a couple of years ago, but I wasn't noticing hair loss at that time. I do believe it's all stress-related. All of this nonsense with my body/system/etc. I just need an answer to my blood levels, which no doctor has yet been able to give. Something consistently raises my hemoglobin and hematocrit. For years now, and no one can tell me why or how to control it. Super frustrating because when they get too high, I feel like complete shit. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
