Here is a bit mining operation.
Every card that you see here inserted in the rack is probably the most expensive Nvidia video card that you can buy. They are controlled to maximum settings for the GPU - Graphics chip on the card to mine bitcoins. There are a LOT of video cards just here in this picture. Lots of dollars to make dollars. Each video card could be about a thousand dollars each.

Glad all is well. Things ok here, looking forward to the upcoming long holiday weekend. But I agree, the remainder of this week will be interesting. For whatever reason I am a little worried something big will hit here in the U.S. I hope I'm wrong, I don't think I've ever singled out the U.S. despite there always being potential California doom if nothing else. It just seems like the factors are ripe for a large quake, and the U.S. has not had much movement if you consider the plethora of large quakes that have hit around the world in recent months - heavily weighted in one part of the world but other spots have seen a bit of movement too - just not North America. Nothing. Here's what my search showed:

There have been 21 quakes of M6.5 and larger since January 1st. That seems like a lot in only 5 months, but I don't truly know.

Now look at the (interactive) map of those 21 quakes and how lopsided they are dispersed

I would think at some point our part of the world is going to have to compensate for all that plate shifting going on around us.
