Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated

We have squirrels dropping out of the big tree in the yard and dying from the impact. Third one just now (that I know of) since yesterday. WTF?! Nef thinks they're getting into rat poison that my neighbor puts out. I'm afraid my dog is gonna get one because they can't run after they fall. Yesterday one fell out while the party was going on. The poor thing was knocked out at first for a few minutes and had blood all near its mouth. Then it woke up and started running slowly in circles. :(

I need a mattress or something to put under the tree! It's making me sad.

Apologies for my long absence in posting. Been a long three months of healing that herniated disc in my neck and shoulder here. Even though the pain subsided gradually, I didn't want to take any risks. But it looks like things are finally (almost) good again. Knock on wood.

Just wanted to say hi and let everyone know I missed and love you all. And seeing the last pages with all the festivities for Mini, I might add to the Moon Girl, even though I told you many times, that you did the very best and greatest job in the universe raising that beautiful girl. So much respect for you and her. She truly has become your mini me. I truly mean that.

Knowing you today will be a fantastic party, but also the hectic of you running around, lol. It will be great nonetheless. Days of which memories are made. Unreal how fast that time went by. I see it in my niece Isabella. 16 next month. Not a grey hair on my head yesterday when she was born. And now.. Who knows where the time goes...

Anyway, have the best of times today Sim. And congrats to Mini. So proud of the both of you. Love you much!

Summer is here. I have been fishing the past days. Caught a couple of 1 to 2 inch fish, who apparently took pleasure in annoying me. I could swear I caught the same fish a number of times. I asked him: "what is your name." The fish looked at me, moved his mouth back and forth and I could swear he said: "Bob!" I tried that a few times with the other ones and they all seem to be called Bob. Strange.

It was weird. There was this guy sitting at the pond with a hammer and a screwdriver, staring at the water. I asked him: "New technique? Catch anything yet?" He said: "Oh yeah! For 20 bucks I'll tell you." I thought that was rather steep, but curiosity got the better of me and I paid him that 20 bucks and said: "Ok, so tell me, what did you catch?" He looked at me and replied: "Well, about 300 bucks today!"

Looking at the front page, I am glad that the EQ thread and the Jukebox are still the safe havens on this forum they have been for so long. Thanks to all who keep this sane and clean. It is so much appreciated.
