A/C is running non stop! Poor husband in working in that heat. Like he said, if not for that low paying job, we'd be on the streets so he said he isn't gonna complain.

I've had heat stroke in Phoenix after living there for 10 years and was used to the heat. At that time, we didn't hit over 120 or at least not in my life time there. It hit 122 and my car overheated and I had to walk home about a block. My feet were like leather which was good because I was barefoot and the tar from the asphalt was melting and stuck to the bottoms of my feet. When I got home, I passed out in the yard after seeing my mom through the living room window. I was giving i.v. fluids for a few hours and sent home as the hospital was over run with victims. I remember I was pretty sick feeling for at least a week and never was able to be out in the "hot" sun again.

My part of Colorado should NOT be having these temps!

Thread: HOLY CRAP SAND STORM COMING TO COVER THE STATES WTF !? !!!!

Forgot to mention, it took about a month for all that tar on my feet to come off. Didn't even hurt nor blister. I ran around on concrete and asphalt that was hot enough to fry an egg, seriously. Our cool thing as kids, was to put "stitches" in our feet by pulling thread with a needle. Never ever drew blood and it was actually hard to push the needle through the skin. Now, even slightly warm hurts, rofl

We've seen that before a year or two ago. What suppose to spawn more deadly hurricanes. I think it was a low year in bad ones, so I don't know.

are you still working from home? I know things are slower getting back to normal there. Things here are much more back to normal, but I'm still working from home part of the time. Which is nice and I hope never changes.

Wow, 103! They are saying 101 here on Friday, but down to 90 by Saturday. It's been a while since we've hit triple digits. I don't think we did at all last summer.
