Thanks for asking! He's on med to stop the heroin craving, and the med is as addictive. But he's just about halved his intake of that med, and is working hard to get off it completely. He is fun to talk to, and we are joking and engaging like I've wished we could for a lot of years. I say lots of "thank you" prayers!!! He's not perfect, and occasionally has attitude issues, but is quick to get back in line and come apologize. It's like a miracle, most days. We could hear the thunder starting to rumble, then all of a sudden there was a bright flash of light and IMMEDIATE loud clap of thunder. Grandson headed to the house faster than I've seen him move in a long time! Glad none of us were hurt - I'm pretty sure it hit on the back of our property. My weather channel alert said "lightening strike within 0 miles of you". I believe it! Then we got a really good rain - flooded the usual streets in town.
