I'm trying, thanks. Working from home today so that should help. Although I just got out of a staff meeting. Boss announced there were no anniversaries this month. Except there is one - me. Been there several years this week. Somehow I am always "forgotten", whether big things or small. Reminds me of a job I had years ago. Was there for nearly 6 years, had multiple promotions and left on good terms. When they had my going away party, my name was spelled wrong on the cake.

these are small things, but send a big message in the long run when it happens over and over.

That is beyond rude, sorry that happened to you. Those little things really do mean a lot. It's happened to me too, everyone's birthday is always celebrated on the company slack channel or they put together a slideshow where everyone leaves a nice note and totally glossed over mine last year. It's literally on my boss' calendar too, which I have access to.

Well I am one of perhaps 5 percent of my company thet isnt vaxxed, my Colleauge 29 had his 2nd jab 10 days ago,
been feeling coldish since Weds last week but kept working,
He actually ran a half marathon Sunday the soldier however
Yesterday tested positive for covid:/

So I picked up his desk phone a couple of times last week as it was nearest me as I was up in the kitchen area and it was ringing, Other lady in office has had her and her 18 year old Son vaxxed is coughing and sniffling too! I just cant!!!

Anyway hopefully my God Given system will keep the shizzle ma nizzle away from ME!

All kidding aside, that's actually quite demoralizing. Sorry to hear you've had to plow through that kind of bs!! I missed out on bonuses or raises at 3 different jobs by getting transferred to a new department each time. Always figured it was just my luck...
