Well... I first came to this site in late '02...


I had a lot of different names, but one in particular I favored most and kept.


Mister Obvious.


Name was made as a joke... male name/female avatar. I thought it was funny and it looked funny on threads.


It stuck with me.


So, that's who I am.

No, I never believed the world was going to end as cause of anything I've read here.

I must admit, however, that reading about some things on here have caused me to become a little paranoid in the past. But it usually didn't last long. There've been doom threads from the start.

Also, another thing...

Make sure you don't buy exspensive goods to stock pile... like MREs.

Buy regular canned foods, oats, rice and such. You'll be able to buy a lot more.

You may already have the basics of all this, though.
