Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7193106 Do your research instead of the dart thing. Thats interesting do we have different laws than others on the 4th amendment. I was just reading to my husband the story this morning about an illegal seach somewhere it wasnt indy I dont think but it was this morning on glp. Anyway he is a disabled law enforcement officer with a degree in criminal justice and he said if they had an informant with information and could prove their informant to be credible in court it wasnt illegal and I thought that seemed odd. I thought they had to have a warrent. |

Police seem to keep things locked down, good or bad however you want to view that. What it means to me is there is a dark population there that needs controlling. If an emergency happened I wouldn't want to live that close to that many. |

I thought they had to have a warrent. Yep, sorry. In Indiana, Law enforcement can just enter a private residence with no probable cause and no warrant. your legislators gave up your rights within the last couple years. In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer's entry. "We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence," David said. "We also find that allowing resistance unnecessarily escalates the level of violence and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without preventing the arrest." David said a person arrested following an unlawful entry by police still can be released on bail and has plenty of opportunities to protest the illegal entry through the court system. Sounds fair doesn't it? Move to Indiana and give up the fourth amendment. Good luck with that. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 44284998 United States 12/20/2013 12:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I lived in downtown Indianapolis for 5 years and in the north burbs of fishers/carmel for 6 years. Both places are equally vomit inducing. The traffic is so horrible on the north side of fishers, it will take you 2 hours to get 20 miles..anywhere. It is a police state in Carmel, fishers, and Noblesville where they will pull you over and ticket you for the most absurd.. like a 200 dollar ticket for a license plate bulb being out.. even though it is still visible. Carmel is one giant speedtrap.. with corrupt police. Downtown is spread out, barron, and miserable, with mostly slums.. and vacant warehouses.. the entire city stinks of something that once was great.. but is dying decay and misery now. the weather.. won't even get into it.. freezing, frigid ice in winter.. and humidity in summer. Don't even think about it..oh.. religious zealots and fat ass women everywhere too. |

But, if I had to choose a US state might consider around colorado. Next state over. But close to Colorado. Just not in it. The Devil tries to convince everyone he doesn't exist. The state tries to convince everyone they cannot resist. Do not go quietly into the good night. Rage Rage against the dying light! |

I am guessing close to large fresh water lakes, excluding the great ones...higher mountainous terrain with more independent minded folks and leave immediately... Your spirit will put you where you need to be if you call for divine guidance and then Listen for answers, they come in different forms... |
