[link to www.ctvnews.ca] Wash: My daughter and I had our hounds out for rabbits last winter and came across some fresh Lynx tracks. I had the dogs track the cat and they treed it after about and hour or so. We were able to get some really nice video and pics of the tracks, the chase and the cat. I left the cat unharmed aside from the fear my hounds put into it.

We have bobcats and lynx here in Thunder Bay, ON and unless he "hit it twice", as he says, with an AXE, disabling it and then throttled it, that lynx would turn on him in a flash and make a terrible mess of him and likely would have killed HIM - assuming of course the lynx was an otherwise healthy animal.
