The Creationist will mop the floor with Bill Nye's head. Evolutionists have no idea what they're talking about. They think until their minds are too exhausted - either intellectually or emotionally - then they stop at whatever they want you to think the proof is and say 'no no no...that's where the reasoning stops', even though that's always far from the truth.

Poor evolutionists. So wrapped up in self-importance, fear of the truth and fear of our loving God. It's a miserable existence, I know. I used to be the same way. I hope Bill won't reject the truth this time.

The theory of gravity is "just a theory". It is a theory used to explain why what goes up, must come down. It's been extremely useful in predicting the attraction between objects with mass, that space agencies use it to hurl probes into deep space using the gravitational pull of other large bodies as a slingshot. The "theory" is how gravity operates. That it operates is not in question by anyone, even you.

The theory of evolution by natural selection is also "just a theory". It is a theory used to explain WHY ORGANISMS CHANGE OVER TIME. That they change over time is not debated by ANYONE except for you fundimental Christians and Muslims. A theory MUST have an observable phenomenon to explain and it must make predictions. The "theory" of evolution does both! It's absolutely true and there's no debating it. The proof is right in front of your eyes. Look at your kids, if you have them. The kid will partially resemble you and partially resemble the other parent, but the child will also have features of their own that neither parent possess. Small change, but that's evolution. Now, imagine a billion years of these small changes. Could this not equal one large change?

It doesn't mean there's no god! I would never tell you I can prove there's no god! It just means that the PRIMITIVE HUMANS who wrote Genesis didn't know what they were talking about.

Scientists usually make terrible philosophers. They are often incapable of grasping concepts required to analyze their own stances. What's sad (and annoying) is that most don't see their own intellectual shortcomings and just assume superiority through titles and sophistry.

That's why I'm so glad that I went multiple routes. Computer Science, Physics, Philosopy, Acting, Psychology (which is a Tavis-crock, mostly), Math and Biology.

..and since I'm not logged in right now, I don't mind telling you my IQ is 162 (Though IQ doesn't matter as much as appetite, neutrality and objectivity...and IQ is mostly a Tavis-crock as well). I just thought I'd throw that out there for those of you who think that Creationists are morons.

Anyway...had I not gone the routes of philosophy and self-understanding, I probably would have been lost in the sophomoric sea of scientists who bow only to self interest and new opportunities to exploit our world to become more like gods. That's a bad crowd to hang out with, and you won't find the most important truths there.

What is a real scientist in your opinion then? Nye has a degree in Engineering and Tyson has several degrees and was a research associate in the department of astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History.

Ive seen Ken Ham several times, hes good at gaining approval of his flock, but not at scientific method.

I can predict the flow of this after seeing him several times...same as always, he points out evolutionists are wrong on some very specific points, all unrelated.

The evolutionist will counter with "you dont understand the scientific method"

Ken will say "see they pick and choose what they want to believe"

True, Christians used to resist scientific progress...but that was mainly a leftover of the Catholic church - like Sunday as Sabbath and covering your mouth while yawning to keep the demons out. There was a war between scientists (who at the time were mainly Christians or liberated Catholics) and the foolishness of Popes...and the war continues. There is a misguided and dishonest assault on Christians now though, because most Christians do not listen to the Vatican at all anymore and the charges against previous incorrect stances attributed to Christianity should really be levied against Catholicism - the two are not the same at all.

There is really no way at this point to defeat Christianity or Creationism through the argument that evolution exists anyway...
You can defeat elements of some denominational beliefs, but you can't defeat Creationism that way. I mean, I KNOW evolution occurs and I actually use it whenever I can when I'm programming (genetic algorithm = forced evolution). I'm a Creationist. So, what is further confirmation that evolution exists going to do to me? Nothing. It's an irrelevant topic.


As time progressed, Christians saw that science actually bolstered their faith in the Bible. It also awakened many to the fact that they need to investigate the Bible for themselves instead of simply accepting the interpretations of 'authorities' on the Bible - like priests, pastors, apologists, etc. Many christians still hold on to flawed ideas due to uncertainty and fear about what it might mean for their faith if they accept that some portion of their beliefs are incorrect, because then they have to doubt and reevaluate all of the other Biblical beliefs they have. This is due to the flawed reasoning and interpretations of Christian leaders, handed to their congregations as truth without appropriate vetting of the idea by the end consumers - the congregation.

So...yeah...everyone has the right to be critical of and mock many Christians, because of their fear of personal investigation - the sheeple-esque qualities that many of them have. Don't knock the Bible or Christianity itself though, because it is right. The Christians are the people you have a problem with. In the same way, I'll lmao at scientists, but I am not going to say that because scientists are often the laughingstock of the universe, that Science has been discredited. The 'thing' and it's followers are two completely different things.

Actually, between the arguments of "Creationism" and "Perfect Existence through Quintillions upon Quintillions of Happy Accidents Originating from a Vacuum consisting of neither Space nor Time nor Matter", there can be only 1 correct answer.

The debate is kind of dumb though between "Evolution" and "Creationism", because they are both correct.

The reason that Christians like these kind of "debates" is that Creationism is obvious and the most common assertion of the Evolutionists is that the existence of some evolution disproves Creationism, which is equally ludicrous and hilarious. It's the cleanest form of comedy that Christians can enjoy. Can you blame them for wanting clean comedy? The world is so perverse that what passes for comedy now is usually frowned upon by most Christians. They don't have that many options for a good laugh.
