If they're the employees, then that money comes from their work to begin with. So they do pay. You all just skim from their checks what they all bring into the company, and shill out minimal HC worth less than what you skim. Where do you think your company gets the money from to do anything? From the employees work. And "desk jobs" are not the working man. Sorry. 30K a yr is WAYYYYYYY above average. Check the MEDIAN you nitwit. Do you even know what the Median is right now? Do you? If you make 30K a year, then you can drop hundos on your HC. He's not screwed because his back isn't up against ANY wall. This thread is complete bull. Wow.....murica is doomed. This above is esence of liberalism stupidity. Do you even understand thanks to who or what these 100 workers have income. |

You're protected by a military regardless, so you're a freeloader. Same goes for your nationally subsidized electricity. And nationally subsidized water. We can skip roads and cops because they're both fucked, but the fact that someone will take a bullet today in uniform for you pisses me off. Sure, we don't need to be at war, but we do it to scare everyone away (the actual truth) and to make profits (true, but to a lesser extent than you'd think). Just about all that shit is paid for by borrowed money from private banking families like the Rockefellers who have the legal right to create it out of thin air, your taxes doesn't pay for jack squat except the interest on that fictitious debt created by the fractional reserve banking system. You don't even know how fractional reserve banking works and how the government actually finances itself, and you have the nerve to call people freeloaders when they object to this scam. |

Nothing about this bill provides for your healthcare. This bill provides for your illness care once you have met the deductible. Calling this plan Healthcare is putting a manipulative, marketed spin on this plan. We the people continue to repeat calling this plan what it really is illness insurance. Second, did anyone ever wonder if this said subsidy is taxed as income? Third, rabidly accusing anyone of voting democrat & getting what they deserved is growing trite. If we do not all stick together on this illness care issue we will not prevail. This is not a political issue. Fourth, help me understand how we the people can be forced to buy from a private company illness insurance or be fined for non-compliance. Is this not fascism when government & corporations get together against the people? Lastly, the overview of this is meant to cause chaos & division among the people. It is making people dependent on the government. |

Excuse me for interrupting your mental masturbation, but I served in Iraq, and like many of my peers, I'm a firm believer in the 'Just Stop Paying Your Taxes' concept. It's a hell of a lot less disruptive and bloody a way to force a change than the alternatives... As for subsidies? No one subsidizes my well or the filters that I use for my water, neither do I get any subsidy on electricity (point of fact, we pay just about the highest electric rates in the SouthEast). As for police and fire...those are paid for by my county taxes, not the federal income tax which is unlawfully imposed upon me. We need a 10 year track to eliminate every federal agency which is not legitimate domain of the Federal Government as per one of the original Enumerated Powers in the Constitution. No "supremacy clause" bullshit. No mental gymnastics with the Commerce Clause, either, just the enumerated powers. The rest are the rights of the states, or of the people at large... BattlesightZero YOU, and only YOU are responsible for maintaining the balance of power between you and the rest of the semi-sentient beings in this world. You cannot disclaim or delegate that responsibility; it is a function of being a living, breathing "adult" in this world. If you can't manage yourself on those terms, someone else *will* manage you on their terms. Your terms are irrelevant. Buy a rifle; prepare to defend yourself. If you don't, what happens is *your* fault. Period. |

Northman User ID: 9494772 Puerto Rico 01/16/2014 05:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Everything in America is FOR PROFIT. Profit trumps all other factors. Without regulation, people charging for profit can essentially charge whatever they want. Where I live the cost of LP doubled in a day when the weather got brutally cold. There was no shortage but if you had to have LP you paid or you froze. Healthcare is not regulated, either is insurance, They can charge whatever they want. If you get a thousand dollars of service they can charge you 50,000 you can simply not pay but you will be garansheed or lose property if you have it or are working. Even if you are young and healthy, a health incident can put you in debt forever if something goes wrong. Many people sound arrogant like they don't need health insurance and having to have it is unfair to them. It isn't. If you get sick and are hospitalized and don't have insurance you can be ruined, for life. |

But my main point would be, the Government constitutionally cannot force people to buy a product from a private company just for being alive. I choose freedom over "supposed safety". |
