The reason the mainstream doesn't acknowledge him is because he's a nutter. He quit a high paying job in academia to move into a commune in the Arizona desert. That didn't work out and he's now claiming the end of the world, maybe his world is ending but the rest of us aren't going anywhere. I call shill; Dr. McPherson will go down as a hero; he does NOT live in a commune and he is an emeritus professor of biology/ecology; who gave up everything because he was forced out of the U of A for telling the truth.
