However I doubt he can "debunk" the accusation that the "free market" is anything but free or that the top 1% of earners actually "earn" that money rather it being a form of legalized theft via wealth transference through stilted tax codes and favoritist legislation. In short, I'm not sure D'Souza is really addressing the needs and concerns of the conservative middle class. How are we going to stop the endless oppression of the middle class, restore economic opportunity by opening new businesses and bring back to the US much of the ill-gotten gains now safely tucked away in offshore banks? Will he mention the death of privacy and the rise of the intelligence state? The incredible deficit spending on military adventurism and social programs that do nothing but benefit everyone but the middle class? We'll see but I have a hunch I'll still be waiting for someone to pick up the cause for the silent majority who are withering away. Gen. John B Gordon and Gen.
