I believe the general rule here, in Canada at least, is 18-35 don't quote me on it but one time I did ask a military recruiter about it. Of course that number isn't official, so I figure anyone could potentially get drafted.

My father was a career USArmy officer and served two 'tours'(don't you like that term), in Vietnam. He told me that if the war continues, as I was approaching 18, and they attempted to draft me, that he would send me to Canada.
He said the draft was the most unconstitutional directive ever issued.

Well if any draft happens under the current rules, I'm already too old. And by the time they'd need to expand it to 26+, things will be so bad at home the draft wouldn't mean anything.
