I am convinced we need a higher minimum wage, I'm thinking $100,000 an hour. That way after one shift we can almost be millionaires. Two days and we are there baby!
Now of course this is crazy, but is it any more delusional than thinking that a "minimum wage" can be pre-determined for all jobs and all locations?
Jobs should pay what people will work for. Wages too low, people wont work.
The key is to get illegals out of these jobs and out of the country. US citizens will landscape and roof houses and bus tables if pay is reasonable. Illegals drive down wages and benefits. Wake the fuck up

I understand logic is hard to come by and at the risk of wasting electrons, here goes: if someone is working, whatever the pay happens to be, then pay was not to low. They accepted said job. Therefore pay was acceptable.
