Message Subject Re: Minimum Wage -- Working People of America------UNITE! ACT!

This argument is an illusion of the modern world.

The US dollar is governed by relative factors controlled by the Federal reserve.

The single most powerful tool that is being used to make people more poor is inflation.

If the minimum wage goes up, you will see a rise in the cost of living. (Inflation)

Instead of begging/demanding/extorting for the illusion of gained wealth, I think it would be more wise to educate yourselves on the creation/destruction of wealth cycle within the current economic system of the United States. After this is accomplished I think you should unite people to change that economic system to a form which doesn't allow for wealth destruction/theft.

A person working at the bottom of the stack needs to have the hope and ability to improve his/her life. When wealth is confiscated and destroyed, the ability to rise from your station goes with it. The first step of preventing the destruction/confiscation of wealth is tying your currency to something which cannot be manipulated outside your personal control.

Ok, thank you, this is a constructive argument. And what would that something which cannot be manipulated outside my personal control be?
 Quoting: New Eve

A commodity based currency which is unaffected by inflation/deflation. A currency tied to real tangible commodities. (There are men much more savvy in finance who have written down there ideas if you wish to learn more do a search.)

If you look at places like Washington state who has been increasing their minimum wage with inflation you will see that as wage increases so do costs.

Presently the United States economy is spiraling out of control.

For example: If you were to compare 1 gallon of gas in the 1960s to now, what would the result be? Have wages held to that rate of commodity inflation compared to the dollar? --No EVERYONE has been getting a little poorer every year for some time.

Here's a chart the supposedly accounts for inflation

The unfortunate problem is the Federal Government and the Federal Reserve, and other investment entities & banks have been in collusion to manipulate these stats.

The crusade for a higher minimum wage still ultimately goes back to those who control the currency, and the unfortunate problem today is that aside from the inflationary wholesale theft of American wealth businesses and individuals are preyed on by government regulators, taxes, and artificial created problems which stagnate their ability to create wealth for themselves, or hire employees.

We are in a parasitic cycle. Unions, and organized labor are just another form. Most Union heads are political entities using dues and other kick backs to make tremendous non-profit profits. Ultimately, the worker and the employers get screwed so that the Union goons can prosper.

The same can be said by our politicians. We have now entered a stage of our civilization where it pays more to be a parasite then a producer.

Meanwhile, our media and political groups have created this frenzy mentality within people to attack the problem by joining groups which will help sustain parasites. They use buzzwords, and topics to insight people into action without knowledge.

The minimum wage should be abolished, but along side that Federal Income Tax, the Federal Reserve, the present US currency, and ALL FEDERAL LEVEL REGULATIONS, and deptments associated with making them. A new economic system should exist.

There are too many people that feed off of others work. The rhetoric now is to blame your boss, or the corporations, but I think that's a simple misdirection. BLAME THE POLITICIANS AND THE BANKERS because they're stealing from us all!

(Sorry it's a little disjointed there. I went a bit ranty/stream of consciousness.)

I see what you are saying, but if minimum wage was abolished, it would crash all commodities. The wealthy would swoop in buying anything and everything up taking any resource we possibly have. That is what they want...everything.

Look at the great depression, and see where commodities got you. It didn't get far.

Well, our system was on the gold standard. Who confiscated the gold then? It wasn't the wealthy. It was our government.

There are problems with commodity based systems. Particularly if you compare it as things are now. You have more gold bought on paper then is presently out of the ground. (That is insane.)

I'm not a brilliant economist, but I could see the potential for a system to be derived through the value of raw materials, produced goods and services to be quantified. It would take a lot of time to balance out, but I think it's within our species potential.

As it stands now, our present system is designed to make people thank those who are robbing them every day VS at least in the old days we knew had the gold, and if they were unfair we could march on them with pitchforks and torches.

I prefer at least all the players to be visible on the playing field myself.
