This is cute, but not really a true analogy for two reasons: 1) the fact is, people work for minimum wage for years for the big companies......supplying the work that is needed. How can they be unskilled when they have done this work necessary to these companies' benefit for years? They get maybe a .10 raise per year, which keeps them in the poverty level. Yet they are ensuring their companies' survival (and profit for the shareholders) with their work.

Your turd analogy is not true also because 2) There are many companies that pay minimum wage and sell things constantly, for years, that are NOT turds--PLENTY OF PEOPLE BUYING THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE SOLD AT THESE MINIMUM WAGE COMPANIES, made possible by the work of people who are only making minimum wage.
