Malaysia 777 Flight 370 was hijacked. DEBUNK THIS | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 55257578 France 03/13/2014 10:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What about the engine data? Is it possible for hijackers to switch that off too? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55257578 Malaysian plane sent out engine data before vanishing [link to www.newscientist.com] No. The crew has no access to the telemetry device from inside the plane, and they cannot cycle it or turn it off. That's what I thought so how are Rolls Royce and Boeing saying that their was no more data just minutes before the plane disappeared if it was hijacked, the hijackers would have to be pretty sophisticated. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55173769 You may be confusing transponders with emergency transmitters. As far as I know the aircraft has 2 transponders which can be disabled form the cockpit. As far as ELT (emergency location transmitters), if there was no crash, no reason to expect them to be activated. Wrong. The "black box" (which isn't really black) and the telemetry box that Boeing uses are always on. Even when the engines are turned off. ELT and black box are 2 different things. Nobody said the black boxes were disabled. And for your information these are internal systems (Flight Data Recorder and Cockpit Voice Recorder) that do not transmit a signal. If so why would they search for them in every crash? Think about it. The engine data was apparently received for an additional 4 hours, that is what is breaking today and gives more creedence to a hijacking. It is my understanding that on newer aircraft the locator beacon is always on. Can anyone confirm this? My friend who works at the airport told me that 2 are always on and can not be switched off or tampered with. Maybe someone can verify this. I can only repeat what I was told. |

It is my understanding that on newer aircraft the locator beacon is always on. Can anyone confirm this? No. It broadcasts on a specific emergency frequency and only when activated. Otherwise, you'd have thousands of aircraft broadcasting an emergency signal all over the world during normal flight - both unnecessary and it would impede real search and rescue operations. |

The only thing I can release about that situation at this time is that there was ET action involved and that it was by positives, and no one was killed. That's what I've been told by Admiral Mander. I can't verify this in the real world for kind of obvious reasons. I don't have any other details, such as which specific group was involved, how it was done, why it was done, or why they could do that yet we're still getting bombarded by chemtrails. If dawn comes tomorrow with news stories of wreckage found, I've either been told wrong/heard wrong/am crazy or that stuff was planted to assist the downed-plane narrative to prevent this from becoming a form of soft disclosure." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 54491910 United States 03/13/2014 12:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Can anyone explain why it is even possible for the transponders to be shut off during flight. Or even the fact that pilots have the ability to do so. What purpose does this serve? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54491910 Your question was answered several posts ago, look up for Captain America. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 54542787 United States 03/13/2014 12:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 1. Aircrew was involved. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55173769 2. 40 minutes into the flight, the aircraft was handed off from Kuala Lumpur Control center to Ho Chi Minh control, never made contact with Ho Chi Minh. 3. At that same time, the transponders and all signals from the aircraft that could be disabled were turned off and the aircraft vanished. Theory is that it descended to avoid radar coverage and turned West. 4. Had at least 7 hours of fuel remaining at that point. 5. 1 hour later there was likely primary radar contact WEST of Malaysia over the Malacca straits. This was likely due to the aircraft climbing back up to cruise altitude, thinking it was out of radar contact area. 6. NO debris has been found after 6 days and wide area search. 7. It's gone folks - my bet is on Iran Konarak airfield, 2 miles long and first Iranian airstrip on the coast, if indeed it had enough fuel to get there. I said this on the 1st day, but without knowing all these details. Just a gut feeling. Good work tho op. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 26467397 United States 03/13/2014 12:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | But it sounds like one hell of an amazing pilot to have flown all the way to Iran or wherever, off radar and all..... seems unlikely to me. Quoting: Second Best It may have been picked up by radar, but doesn't military and law enforcement sometimes fly around stealthy? Maybe OP can help. Otherwise, how much shit do radar techs how to put up with? |

If it was able to just disappear just think what may be on it wherever it re-appears in a couple of years. Quoting: Derek 1372894 If that did happen and it is to be used in a future operation I highly doubt the US would be a target. Would be almost impossible to pull off. Unless NORAD had the most epic failure in communication ever. Oh wait... |
