IT usually happens in the south. Gets everywhere, even inside your cars air conditioning system. Saw it in Louisiana except it was greenish yellow. Be interesting if it was something else though. |

Right, i hear ya. Other than pollen i remember volcanoes carrying ash as a kid so i guess a large enough explosion could cause that to happen as well. Good luck figuring it out. |

However my new husband, which was raised in Laporte stated that if the winds were strong enough, this dust could have come from the steel mills. He recalled something similar many years ago.
