The resignation on April 2 of General Secretary Takis Baltakos, a top aide to Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, over the release of a videotape by Golden Dawn (GD) member of Parliament (MP) Ilias Kasidiaris, has sent shockwaves throughout Greece that threaten to topple the beleaguered government. The videotape leak came as five GD MPs were stripped of parliamentary immunity.

The videotape, secretly recorded several months ago, depicts Baltakos at his office in a private conversation with Kasidiaris revealing that the arrest and imprisonment of six GD MPs, including party leader Nikolaos Michaloliakos, last fall were ordered by powerful Zionists in the United States to destroy the rapidly rising nationalist party.

PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION - DECENTRALIZATION

The basis of the civil and administrative model of the Golden Dawn - according to our patriotic spirit - is the Demos, within which, the social, political, economical and cultural life of the people are developed. Thus we propose the elimination of intermediate levels and powers in the current administrative structure, in peripheries and provinces that cause disturbances in administration due to bureocracy which torments the citizens.

The Golden Dawn believes in the decentralization of all services and functions, so that every Demos can be made into an autonomous political, social, economical, cultural and administrative instrument, a constructive member of society. The Demos must be make into a functional, administrative basis in absolute concordance with the Central Management. Thus, all services will be under the jurisdiction and competence of the Demos and will be controlled mainly by the central authority.

This upgrade in the function of the Demos will make it so that its resources will be redistributed to the people by the Central Management. This decentralization will be absolute for all services, including economical and judicial ones.
