If a prior Idaho quake was felt in Spokane, as one post claimed? How close are do those tremors pass to Hanford Nuke Plant? The one with the cracked & bulging dam and leaking rads?

Well, as a life long Cubs fan, I think that's bad odds!

In an interview yesterday Stan Deyo said he thought that a new vent just opened up at Yellowstone going west or northwest.

Hey that EQ guy said to expect a quake there; his prediction is a week late, but still pretty close. He said it would be the area, but not Yellowstone itself. I need to look it up and see the details.

Do we have any glpers on the ground in Yellowstone? Observations?

I live about 40 miles to the north of Challis. I did not notice any shaking, dog was acting normal. Tomato plants still in the ground.

Challis, Idaho was volcanic itself at one point. They are linked in a way...most likely the same plume.

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice. All the same its West Coast and Jaun Da Fuka Plate activity. Thats the only plate as of yet that hasn't had a major realease of pressure. Its building up and if a big one was to UNZIP you can bet your ass that it would get things rolling in a hurry.

I have seen and heard from alot of sources that they are extrememly worried about the month of April from Now till the 25th for somthing major to happen because of where Earth is in its Orbit.

Then there's the Famous Me Tell U Now Thread that says Aprils 17th is going to be the date for some Major Rocking and Rolling.

A friend of mine in Utah said he saw 3 helicopters flying up north earlier today.

i think a new vent is causeing some issues!!!
But the 4.9 was IN yellowstone

the 3.2 was the sound of the zipper up to idaho starting to buckle.
Truth is, when we get a hydro bang, any part of the park could get real crazy!!!

Magma is always on the move, magma flows consistently. Yellowstone can blow anytime, the real concern is how big will the eruption be? Will it be a small eruption or a big eruption. Depends if the eq's continue to rise in magnitude.
2008-2009 eq swarms in Yellowstone a warning for what is to come? We are now witnessing something very extraordinary.

15 miles north of challis and it was very noticeable, epecially was the sound.
