There's a pink haze over almost EVERY area I've seen so far. A THICK pink haze. Quoting: Listen_n THAT, most likely, means that radioactive Iodine-123 is also being released in large amounts. A chemical reaction occurs when it hits oxygen that creates a pink haze. If you were there, you would also smell a horrible sulfer smell, another by-product. Iodine-123 in ONE of several iodines that cause major thyroid damage with very little inhaled. Good news is its half-life is only around 9 hrs. Im much more concerned about whats being released that doesnt leave a tell-tale, and iodine-123 is as harmless as table salt compared to the other things stored at Fuku. So, that's one particle out of how many??? Unfortunately, most likely several hundred. Have you ever seen 'the rock' with Sean Connery? I remember 'The Rock' several hundred particles is not good! [link to earthdata.nasa.gov (secure)] i.e. atypical "clouds" emanating from the approx location. Last Edited by RTS REDUX on 05/21/2014 10:57 PM |

Quoting: Max Bacon During a parliamentary committee in May 2010 he made similar claims, warning that the cooling systems of a Japanese nuclear plant could be destroyed by a landslide or earthquake. In response Yoshinobu Terasaka, head of the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, replied that the plants were so well designed that "such a situation is practically impossible.. WELL? it took an communist to tell them it was going FAIL? We should make these nuclear supporters go in and clean up this FUK'N mess! I really would if I were single but God had other plans for me. lol |

Quoting: SteamrolledGobias reactor 3 or 4? how would we objectively know if TEPCO is lying or not? because I wouldn't be surprised if Pu was already released during the initial explosion. just about all nuclear reactors are using MOX fuel rods these days. the "MOX Program" was started about 15 years ago, and the plan was to mix about 3% Plutonium into all the fuel grade Uranium they mix-up to make fuel rods, in order to put a lot of the World's surplus Plutonium to good use. . |

Quoting: SteamrolledGobias just sitting there? If I remember correctly I think there were 1500 rods in SPF4 and Tepco has been removing them since last October. No word on progress though. I seriously think that was a bullshit lie. Those rods have probably been fucked for awhile. They're just trying to look like they have control. |

It was released in the initial explosion. And this organization has sniffers, they published at the time, that it had sniffed the components signature to Japans explosions, one of which was Plu. But the information was taken down so fast, by the time I thought I should get a screen shot of it, it was gone. [link to www.ctbto.org] Also, a newspaper up by SF CA had put in the online issue that the EPA had told them they sniffed Cesium 137 like a day after the initial explosion. But that too was gone fast from publication. "We are locked in a battle. This is not a friendly, gentleman's discussion. RTS REDUX User ID: 57849075 United States 05/21/2014 10:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Let me let you all in on something that will show the extent of TEPCOs coverup of the situation at the Fukushima site. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47302730 During the 1986 Chernobyl meltdown, they released to the PUBLIC Infrared SPOT satellite images that clearly showed the billowing plumes of hot particles coming from the facility. this showed the radiation clouds that were INVISIBLE TO NORMAL OPTICAL CAMERAS AND THE HUMAN EYE. That was with technology that is now a quarter of century old. [link to www.sciencephoto.com] TEPCO and the JAPANESE government along with the worlds top governments are purposely holding back such imagery of the fukushima site, to this very day. You wont see infra-red imagery because its classified secret, in order to avoid panic, and evacuations.
