If it looks anything like some of the stuff i have seen it's indescribable.

Is is white or pale pink, and made some kind of ceramic.

and it is not solid. It is mostly empty, except 2 rods that connects the 2 ends.

But they are not straight. They are arched or more exactly twisted...kind of like the double helix, except these have only one winding, or maybe even just a half.

It seems to me they are to tolerate heat....like inside some kind of oven

Vaguely I remember, that normally a flame or plasma was burning in its center. It was the inner core of some equipment or appliance.
