Today we need a nation of minute men; men who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life.. John F. Kennedy, 1961 The ideal ruler will recruit men superior to himself as teachers;the worst will employ only slaves. |

Neighbors say he's known as the "Moleman," for digging deep dtiches, caverns and steps in the parkland. Here is a link for a slide show [link to www.kirotv.com] -It would seem someone like this has some heavy mental health issues. I'd say he needs to be stopped and placed in some good care. I'd not doubt if it was found out he was a vet. I also think it's rather odd the city would just post notice to vacate signs at all the holes. This man needs some help. They should have a social worker just wait around for him to show up. Then have a good talk about what can be done to help. Does everybody who doesn't live or do what society thinks they should do have "serious mental health issues" ? |

If he was, he'd be a man up in the mountains living off the land by himself. Not to mention this is not his land, it's city owned. Also, thank you for the one star. I know it was you. -Everything's more awesome when you lean into it. |

Even those mountains are owned by someone.. there is not a square foot of planet earth not already owned by someone, unless some new volcano island pops up. |

Hell, he might be under one of those ditched, dead.. Should have dug deeper, with support beams. |

deanoZXT (OP) User ID: 50248451 United States 08/02/2014 03:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Huh Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21245244 I've been in the Cheasty Greenspace and hung out with a homeless guy at his semi-permanent encampment there but I wasn't aware of this tunneling operation. I hate how the homeless are such sloppy litterbugs. Be cool about it and be neat, ffs. Yeah, I've notice true homeless people tend to keep trash all about there little camps. I find it odd. Epically since a lot of them camp out in tucked away corners of parks. Parks have trash cans. -Everything's more awesome when you lean into it. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79585113 United States 06/15/2021 05:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You obviously don’t live in Seattle. The homeless population tripled from 3400 counted in 2016 to 12,000 in 2019, when I left. Can’t be bothered to find the links, but if you search, the governor declared a “state of emergency” over the 2016 numbers. Point is, the city council seems determined to destroy Seattle. Place is fucked. I moved out just over a year ago, and I don’t look back. |
