From what I understand, the Rosicrucians understanding of metaphysics is similar to the other esoterica out there except thier foci and spell components are primarily derived from Christian symbols and liturgy. They do what the Masons do with a medieval protestant Christian twist.

Some of the scots masons borrowed from them as well.

You are better off learning this stuff in an cleaner atmosphere not muddled by 16th century frameworks.
