No. If you are talking from a real Biblical perspective, then you should study and find that when people take the mark of the beast, they will know exactly what they are doing. Both Joel and Ezekiel and also John in Revelation talk about this. They will LITERALLY know they are choosing Satan over God. It will be a decision.

All the hype about technology being the mark is just that. Yes, we are at the point where technology can provide this for us, but the mark itself will be a conscious choice to make, not a $350 Apple Watch.

May or may not be true but I tend to believe it.

Let's put a cellphone watch on our wrist so it can always be near our breasts or resting a hand on our laps driving near our testicles. Yeah, sounds like a great idea. Not to mention the majority of the time your wrist is near your stomach.

Now, again, the point is still there that all this tech does allow for the system the one world government will use. It won't just be for buying and selling. It will be everything. IDs, medical records... everything. The system is pretty ready for it. They are actually testing this in Sweden at the moment in a few cities (or the tests might be over now, I haven't checked up on it in a while) - where citizens were given implants that were used for buying selling, ID, medical/insurance, etc. The entire project was to test out how it worked in some smaller cities and do away with wallets, etc. It was working very well last I had heard.

So the tech will enable this. But just remember the decision to take the actual mark of the beast will be a decision. You will know you are doing it. It won't be sneaky in that sense.

Hmm. You have to be careful with that line of thought though. That would be one of the first things anyone who doesn't believe in the Bible would attack you for. They would just call you nuts.

Technology is a good thing. We use it for evil. That is our nature, for now. But if you are looking at this from a purely Biblical perspective then you are commanded to "be fruitful, multiply... subdue the earth". Science and technology advances can be part of that. Of course they are used for evil. That will end one day soon I think. But just saying technology is bad will get you into an argument you cannot win.

It's Apple Watch. Sigh.

No, I wasn't. I was tired of hearing everyone who already *knew* what it was going to be like. I work in technology and we watched the Apple event. It is actually going to be a cool device.

Will the NSA use it to track you? Probably. But they already do that in so many ways...

Yeah they have cameras everywhere. So putting one so close I guess is a matter or preference. If they are going to spy on me I might as well have it be on a device I can use for other things.

Well, there is no camera on the AppleWatch. But there is location services. And you have to use it with an iPhone 5 or 6... so they will still always know where you are =)

Seeing something, anything, with a '6' in it and then applying the "mark-of-the-beast 666" to it is really stretching things.

Revelation 13:17&18 say you need WISDOM and you have to COUNT to get to 666. None of that applies in the case of Apple.

Apple is not a beast. Beasts in the Bible are kingdoms and nations (Babylon; Medo-Persia; Greece; Rome, also pagan Rome and papal Rome). The issue at the end of time is worship (Revelation 14:7). Will we join God's system or Satan's?
