Someone said the Old Testament was 'nasty' and that is far from the truth.

The OT is nothing more than revisionist history.
The 'jubilee' is just one example. It is the basis for our bankruptcy laws today.

They have changed TWICE in the last ten years to make bankruptcy less desireable for the common citizen.
