i have proof internally that my spirit can control my thoughts
but, it's not possible to prove it to another person
it's called self control
and is a fruit of the Holy Spirit

In other words, something *causes* you to believe that you have free will. But, of course, you'll just say that "God" causes you to have the belief, right?
