It wasn't that long ago. Inside the city I live in there is an old annexed town named Walkerville. Hiram Walker built it with the profits he made distilling Canadian Club Whiskey. With his own money he paved the streets, built parks, installed street cars, built the town library, funded the building of most of the churches in the town. He made a really nice place for the people who worked for him to live. he got rich but he understood that there was more to being successful and highly respected than just having lots of money.

Every town in Canada and the USA had a guy like him at one time, and the last of them were still around in the 80's when I was a kid. Any nation who does not actively work to make its citizens more free is run by satanic reptoid slavers. Every single day, every single politician should start with the first principle "every action I take today will help the people I represent be more free"
