X troop is perhaps the strangest force the British Army has ever fielded in that it consisted mostly of Enemy Aliens.. X troop was a commondao force made up of predominantly Jewish Germans, Austrians, Eastern Europeans etc. X troop was part of the SOE Small Scale Raiding Force, and even today most of the operations X troop undertook are still secret.. they are an interesting bunch, even in the post war effort they where used to track down Nazi resistance groups and war criminals... So the premise of the script for the movie is based on real life, could you not keep with a similar vein and look for events that mimic that to give a continuity to such a force rather than go straight into the lands of fiction. I understand for such a script to work you may need to change it to suit the appetite of an American audience, but then that is always a cost to make these things. just a thought... |
