Is treason still punishable by death in America?
If so, why are so many treasonous politicians still alive?

Because they are ALL guilty of treason. The people with the power to bring charges against them are also guilty of treason themselves.

Basically, every politician and judge would need to be put to death, but there is no one with the power to do it that is not also guilty of treason themselves.

Until the people get sick of it and do it themselves, of course.

This ^^^

Which is why lots of us were hoping Trump would drain the swamp. But that was just another empty slogan from a politician posing to be on our side. Meanwhile things always gets worst and then comes a new puppet becomes president with a new empty slogan to continue the script of making the country worse and worse.

Round and round it goes as we go down the shitter.

Depends upon the InJustice Department. Has to be charged, investigated, tried.

Do you think the right hand cuts off its left hand?
