Synthetic ascorbic acid is in around 99% of vitamin C supplements. It's a dirty little secret not many people know about.

So if you think you're taking actual vitamin C, then you better think again because you are not. You're taking a chemical concoction that's concocted in some secret lad on the east coast. Good luck finding pills that are ascorbic acid free.

The hook on why the can call it vitamin C is because they claim it's been proven that ascorbic acid in any form wards off scurvy.
So those C pills you're popping are worthless. In fact they're bad for your health.

I'm no medical doctor or genius but I can't seem to find ascorbic acid listed anywhere on the LiveOn Labs Lypo-Spheric vitamin C packs.

They are probably on borrowed time.

The hook on pretty much all vitamins is they are dead sterile nutrients, if they contain any actual organic compounds at all. This is very bad. Humans are designed to consume live or freshly killed or picked foods.
The whole industry is pretty much worthless and in this day and age you can easily get access to a balanced diet in this country.
I've stopped taking bottled vitamins long ago after finding out about what's actually in them and the havoc they can reak on a persons system.

So if you thing you need some vitimin C, eat an orange, you'll get plenty of that naturally occurring ascorbic acid that they claim will save you from scurvy. and you'll be far more healthy for doing so.

Supplements are a dirty, dirty business, stay away IMO.

OK yeah I agree. Guess I'm still evolving. Wish I had the time and space to grow my own food. Can't afford to buy all organic.

Yeah I never knew any of that either until someone I know had a bad reaction from a medication/vitamin combo.

It would be nice to live in a world where poisoning people wasn't acceptable. Unfortunately that isn't the world we live in.
You don't have to eat organic, I don't. I just try to eat real food. If it didn't grow, run, fly or swim then don't eat it.
Until they find the Oreo cookie tree........avoid that shit like it's the plague. It's amazing what the fake food industry is allowed to get away with. They feed people rat shit and it's accepted by the FDA! So, we're all pretty much on our own.
