Suspicious car deemed 'explosive threat' at Picatinny, driver detained
At about 11:30 a.m., a driver tried to gain access to Picatinny Arsenal through the post's truck gate when security personnel noticed something suspicious within the vehicle, Picatinny Arsenal spokesman Ed Lopez said.

The driver is currently being detained and questioned at this time, he said.

Authorities are treating the situation as if it was an explosive threat, and the installation has been coordinating with local, state and federal agencies, Lopez said.

Employees were instructed to leave the post at 1:44 p.m., he said.

Entrance on the post has temporarily halted, and personnel are working to return the area to safe traveling conditions, Lopez said.

Any updates on this other than the official?
I heard from my fathers cousins dog that there were explosives found, but the official statement was otherwise.
