I survived bacterial meningitis with no side affects..ask me a question!

I've often wondered why bacterial meningitis can't be treated by injecting antibiotics into the spinal fluid like they do with anaesthetics in the spinal block.

How was the pain? Did you experience any visions/hallucinations?

Interesting. I also survived Had all my fingers and toes until a few days ago. Still in hospital waiting on second sergury.

I was puking up bile..102 temp..felt like my head was gonna explode!
Couldn't remember how I got around my house!..felt like I was teleporting around my house. Just remember being In the hospital after that getting a spinal tap..which suck bad!..worst part is the instant migraine you get when they pull out the needle and Cathiter thing.
Yup lots of pain!
But my body parts never had any problems.
Had lots of spots!..they called them piticeeay...lol..don't know how it's spelt.
My brain in normal.
I was almost narcoleptic afterward...like my body just fought a huge battle!

What kind of antibiotics did they give you?
They gave me a shitload of rocephin!

Do you know how you got it?

I got it back in the 80's. Don't remember what they gave me. I had just completed a run for county office and must have come into contact with a sick individual while campaigning.

The damage to the body is significant. Takes a long time to fully recover. Years for some people.
