I don't know much about astrology, but it has always interested me.

Is it primarily just focused on the individual?

I've never seen a chart done up with a music group, say the Beatles, or a prognosis of the Bush/Cheney nexus. Is this just not feasible or perhaps unreliable?

I've been studying astrology for almost 30 years now, and it still freaks me out with how accurate it can be. But I've never taken the step to become a professional because, well, I look at astrology as a learned skill, the skill of being able to read God's shorthand written in the sky. It seems almost sacrilegious to charge people money to read God's word to them. Yet I've got to make a living, and so this skill has remained an avocation rather than a vocation.

But consider the implications : I have just correctly read accurate data about the current life conditions of two people I've never met before (and probably never will), simply by analyzing crude depictions of how the sky looked dozens of years ago. What the fuck does that mean about our free will? We moderns like to think, especially here in America, that we are the masters of our own fate. You know, the old line "Anyone can grow up to be President". But after almost 30 years of studying astrology, I have come to the pretty firm conclusion that our lives are written in advance, in stone, a whole hellova lot more than we would like to believe.
